We are part of Sage Accounts Solutions, an established business who provide bookkeeping, payroll, financial management, training and personnel services to a broad cross-section of businesses.
In Spring 2008 we decided to relocate the training side of our business to Ipswich in order to provide Sage Training at a price people could afford. The courses are down-to-earth and cover the things you need to know to do Sage accounts.

Sage Skills courses
We show you how to use the program, using real-life scenarios. We write all our training material and manuals, which are visual and easy to follow.
We want you to retain what you have learnt. For this reason the courses are modular and delivered in half-day sessions. The groups are small, with a maximum of six people, which allows us to help everyone at their pace.
The sessions are informal. We work through the module together, sharing our thoughts as we enter the documents. Where should it go? Why there? What happened to the information entered on Sage?
We don’t expect you to dash off at the end of the session and always give people the opportunity to talk to us one-to-one.
Benefit from our Sage accounts and training experience
As experienced bookkeepers and financial managers we have used Sage for many years and have been training Sage users since 1995.
Six years ago we wrote our first training manuals. The first Basic Sage User Manual we wrote was 150 pages long! We soon realised that people were using our Advanced Sage User Manuals, which were much smaller, on a regular basis, after attending the course. Now they are split into bite-size manuals and people use them on a day-to-day basis as a point of reference. Knowing this we leave plenty of space, within the manual, for you to make notes.
The manuals also include Hints and Tips, which will save you time and help you use the Sage accounts program more effectively.
Bespoke training
Every business is different, even businesses within the same sector have varying needs, which are specific to the way they work on a day-to-day basis.
We provide training tailored to the needs of a business and specific to the individuals who wish to use the accounts program at all levels.
Recent projects include:
- Bespoke training for a new starter at a food production company
- Induction program for new accounts staff at a manufacturing company
- Transfer of accounts from a manual system to Sage at a removal company
- Setting up a project costing system in Sage for an energy consultancy company
Company specific manuals
We write Sage user manuals, tailored to the individual needs of a business, which provide a step-by-step guide to the accounts role within a company.
The manuals are visual and contain company specific screen shots and information and as such are a valuable resource.
We have written company specific manuals for the following business sectors:
- IT sales and support
- Veterinary practice
- Retail franchise
- Taxi services
- Manufacturing
- Printing and reprographics
